Beth Tucker

Accomplished, traditionally trained graphic designer, with a passion for sculpture and furniture design. Beth Tucker began her professional artist career at The American University in Washington DC. From there, she became a successful graphic designer, establishing her own freelance graphics business. From there she found her way back to her creative roots and discovered a love for building and designing in three dimensions. She expanded her creative voice through the unique design of chairs. Beth expresses her art through the design and building of miniature, and full-size chairs. Through the use of a vast array of materials Beth evokes feelings, emotions, styles and concepts by telling stories through her chairs. Beth was approached by the producers of “Ellen’s Design Challenge,” to apply for the show in 2015. Her work has been exhibited in juried art shows. Beth is currently working on several solo art exhibitions. She continues to expand her portfolio and is also accepting commissioned art and furniture design projects.

Beth resides in West Chester, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.
